TRAVEL | Kuroshio Sea















Kuroshio Sea is main tank of the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the 2nd largest aquarium in the world, behind Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Eighty species of fish live in the Kuroshio Sea, including yellow-fin tuna, bonito (a type of large mackerel) and manta rays as well as the biggest fish in the world, the whale shark, which can grow up to 12-m long.

Only three aquarium in the world are currently big enough to house these huge creatures.
